A Rookie snack bar mama-san, Nana

Working as a Snack mama at the a physical snack bar!? ~A Rookie Snack Mama-san, Nana vol.6~

Hello~ hello~!!

In the previous episode, “A Rookie snack bar mama-san, Nana vol.5”,I introduced some of our content called the online snack bar! ! I also shared that I started owning a shop on Online Snack bar😊.

This time…! ! The girl who wants to be a snack bar mama finally has it!! (It’s me though haha)
So, as a first step, we decided to rent out a physical store only once a week and work as a snack mama~✌

How we made it?

There is a snack bar near our company that has been running for over 40 years and has a very retro Showa atmosphere. And the mama-san(owner) of the snack bar is 88 years old! ! However, the mama-san is at the store almost every day, and she has a toughness that belies her age.
As I went there several times, I actually said, “I want to be a snack bar mama-san.” and with the support of our representative Igarashi, who was there with me, I asked her if I could rent her place. She accepted in a second! It was sooner than I expected👏
After all, you have to say what you want to do when you feel it will be true 😌
That’s how we decided to rent her space to open a snack bar!! Mama-san also wanted to work at the store on weekdays, so we decided to do it on a Saturday as a trial☆

I’m hungover and looking tired (lol), but I can’t say that now since I’m a snack bar mama-san!

First, cleanning! Started with whatever the mama-san want us help!

I might write about it in detail in another article, so I’ll keep it brief here. While talking with the mama-san, she told us that the ventilation fan in the bathroom stopped working and aerial areas that she couldn’t reach need pur help. We want to make the mama-san happy when we rent them, and we believe that our role in running a new and old store is to support mama-san who needs help, so we spent a day cleaning the snack bar!
We cleaned up old items and wiped down the ceilings and shelves.
From now on, I would like to create a new retro store without destroying the atmosphere of the store that the mama-san cherished, while also incorporating new styles!!

Our team did a deep cleaning👍

Where is the store located? What is the schedule for mine?

You may be curious about the location of the store…
It is 3 minutes walk from Ningyocho Station! ! It’s a snack called “Seijyu”. For more information, HERE (This is Japanese article)
This “Seijyu” has a very kind mama-san and a strangely cozy feeling that makes you feel like you’re at your own relative’s house! It’s a space that makes you want to say “I’m home”.
Then, throw on one of the floral patterned jackets hanging on the wall and you’ll be a star. It’s amazing how the song goes (lol). This is something people who come here can look forward to! !

The store is marked by a yellow sign! When you come out of the A5 exit of the station and enter the corner of the abura soba shop, you will see a yellow signboard.
Rental dates are September 28th and every Saturday in October! Please come and visit us🥰.

This is “Seijyu”!! Come and visit us~

Looks like we’ll have a great announcement next time♡ I’m so happy that I’m getting busy♪
Everyone, please take care of your health as there are days when you still feel the lingering heat of the summer, and it suddenly gets cooler!
