Hello everyone!
There are only two months left of 2024! I know everyone says this every year, but let me say it: “A year really goes by so quickly!!!” I think that’s because we’ve been meeting all kinds of people every day and taking on new jobs and studies with a positive attitude. We’ve had such a wonderful year, so let’s stay positive and enjoy the remaining two months~😊
I feel like I’m forcing myself to have a positive mindset, don’t you? 😅 That’s right, when I start to think that this year is almost over, I suddenly start looking back on the year. Because of my personality, I can’t help but regret the past and think, “Oh, I didn’t do this! If only I had done this more!!” So I always try to list the positive things and think, “This year was another fun year in which I grew,” and when I realize it, I really do think that way… Humans are strange.

It’s a bit early, but I’ve started my personal review of the year!
The year 2024 has just flown by, and it was a turning point for me. It may have been a simple idea, but I came back to Japan in March with the desire to create a third place for snack bars. At the time, I thought November would be a good time to open my own bar, but now it’s this month! ⚠️
So, finally…? Well, not exactly…^^; I
was creating a business plan and searching for a property, but not everything always goes smoothly.
Also, in terms of understanding the industry, I learn new information, diversity, and depth (or my own shallowness^^;) every day as I work at our company, “Snack Yokocho.”

Good timing and good encounters. To seize them, you must act.
Of course, I haven’t given up on opening a bar as a bar owner! I’m currently learning about snacks by going to various bars and interviewing bar owners, while also deepening my understanding of the industry from multiple perspectives through events and corporate tie-ups. Snack bars have a long history, but they also have a lot of depth. There are many different types of bar owners, and I’m enjoying meeting them too.
In the course of these activities, I am preparing myself so that I can encounter good timing and good encounters. Nothing will come to you if you just wait, so of course you have to take action.

How was your year?
Although it’s only a partial recollection, I’m also looking back on fun things and events I had on my days off with photos and feeling happy. I’ve met some wonderful people and made some old friends, all of whom are really interesting (laughs). I want to invite them wherever I go, so I’m thinking about doing an online snack party with them next time 😏♡
