In the previous “I’m Going to Become a Snack Bar Mama Vol.12” , I wrote a very superficial review of this year. This time, I got there early! It’s the year-end party season, and even though it’s not even December yet, I’ve already started making plans to go drinking with my friends, convincing them that we’ll go to a year-end party 🥴So
, the other day, I went bar-hopping in Shinbashi, the mecca for salarymen!! This is a snack bar that I often visit in Snack Yokocho. The hostesses have great hospitality and are very distinctive, so please do drop by 🍺

The start is from SL Square, just like the tour!

We met up with our friends for a bar crawl at SL Square, of course. It’s the spot where we usually meet up with our customers!

0th stop: We started with a beer at the Chinese restaurant Ranen Hanten, recommended by the bar hostesses in Shinbashi for its cheap and delicious food. I won’t post any photos, but the most popular dish is their stamina special. It’s full of garlic and goes great with beer. The service is fast too.

First Snack Bar: Kurinyakko, where the owner is very considerate

With our stomachs full, we headed to our first snack bar, Kurinyakko. It’s actually on the upper floor of our first bar, Ranenhanten. Kurinyakko and Ranenhanten are great spots for bar-hopping, and are located in a two-story restaurant building just past Karasumori Shrine in Shinbashi. The side streets are a bit hard to find, so please refer to the photo.

Follow the handwritten sign to the second floor. You will see the chocolate bar door on your right.

And when you open it, you’ll see the lovely red tiled wall and the lovely smiling face of Kurinyakko Mama waiting for you! What they serve at the house is Ballantine’s. Since the night is long, I had a highball.
Also, the friend who came with me is from Fukushima, the same hometown as Kurinyakko Mama, so we got an Akabeko keychain♪

There were two regulars in the bar, and we sang karaoke together and became good friends.
I think a snack bar is a place where people of all ages can have fun together. Thank you for the delicious drinks and wonderful hospitality!

Snack bar No. 2: A must-see for those looking for a marriage partner! “Fortune telling and marriage snack bar aeru”

The second place we went to was a bar called “aeru” where you can also get your fortune told. We went to meet the friendly and beautiful Urara Mama! Inside the bar, there are files with profiles of people looking for marriage partners lined up, and if you register as a member, you can see their photos. If you tell the mama about someone you’re interested in from their profile, she will match you up with them at a later date.

I went to have my current love fortunes read with tarot cards to get some love advice♪ Also, sitting next to me was a man who had gotten married at aeru, so we had a great time talking about love, including how we met 💕Before we knew it, the place was full, and we were talking and singing with all the customers, it was a huge success 👏 As you’d expect from Urara Mama, who has a lot of fans!

3rd Snack Bar: “Kika” – A place where you can feel 120% more energetic and smile all the time

The final destination for the happy, drunk girls is the oasis “Kika” on the second basement floor. Located in the basement of a multi-tenant building, it’s hard to find, making it truly a hidden gem. We hope you’ll come and experience the excitement of walking through it!

Mutsumi, the mother of “Kika”, is a very happy laughter drinker 😄 She laughs “Hahaha!” and creates a bright atmosphere for everyone there ♪ The number of girls who are crazy about her is rapidly increasing! Apparently, women in their 20s often come. On this day, one man and four women came and had a great time, giggling and chatting ♡

Wow, it was a wonderful day ♡

I love bar-hopping! Wherever I go to a bar, the owner makes it fun♪ Before I know it, I’ve become good friends with the person next to me. It was a day that made me think that I want to spread the word that such a place exists.
