Hello everyone!!
In the last article, “I’m going to be a snack bar mama vol.13 ,” I talked a little about the bar hopping girls night, and now some of my friends are getting more and more interests to go to snack bars! I’m very happy to take them to the snack bar 💗 Finally, I was surprised to see my friends going to snack bars with their own friends!
I was relieved to see them all singing happily and talking to the people next to them about what song to sing.
I’ve tried to think about why friends find snack bars fun!

You’ll fall in love with moms, everyone loves moms!
Before we decided to go to the snack bar instead of izakaya and other bars, we usually talk like, “There’s a mama I want you to meet!”, “The mama there has the best personality,” and “I haven’t seen that mama recently, and want to see.” All about “mama”!!
When you go to a bar for the first time, you feel excited, but also nervous when you open the heavy door. At times like that, it’s reassuring to have the mama talk to you about all sorts of things. She also shows concern for you, asking “Are you hungry today?” and when she brings out some small dishes, you feel soothed by her kindness.
Snacks I’ve visited recently
Late at night, a friend called me, “I’m at a snack bar, so come over!” Some of them had been to the snack bar with me before, but it was the first time for them to go there.
It was also my first time at this bar, but there was a stage in the middle of the bar, so everyone could sing along, and it was a fun bar with a wide range of customers! The name of the bar was “Hug☆Hug” and it was close to Monzen-Nakacho Station, so if you’re interested, please stop by♪
The sign has a great vibe! You can see a big gorilla doll at the entrance.
Local snacks too♡
Are there snack bar lovers in my hometown too! So I went to a snack bar with some local girls. When you think back to your hometown, you probably have a place in mind like, “I’ve known about that place for a long time and I used to pass by it when I was a student, but… it was actually a place called a snack bar!” or “I knew it was a snack bar, but it was a place for adults, so I was never taken there and I didn’t pay it much attention…”
I also had one in my hometown, a long-standing snack bar. When I asked my father about this place, “Angela,” he told me it was started by the mother of his classmate, so I went there with my friend and my father!
Here! Here! It was on my way to school.
I cautiously opened the door and found a nostalgic world of velour inside, perfect for snack lovers! It was 10pm on a Saturday and the place was full. The owner is the same great mama as my father remember! She and her daughter, as well as several female cast members, were there. The customers ranged from their 30s to 70s, and there were a variety of karaoke songs playing. My friend also sang a duet with a regular on stage. I never thought there’d be such a fun place in my hometown.
It’s a bit blurry, but isn’t the atmosphere inside the store really great? I love it!!
When you go back to your hometown, why not try visiting that bar you’ve been interested in since you were a child? Behind the heavy doors, a fun night awaits you.
Enjoy this adult social gathering you never knew existed when you were a child.
My friend enjoyed a duet with a regular customer! After this, we went to another karaoke bar
