Happy New Year to everyone!
Last year was a year of great change and growth for me. I returned to Japan and took on a new challenge by becoming a member of “Snack Yokocho” and was able to be involved in a wide range of activities.
Looking back this year…
As a member of “Snack Yokocho”, I acted as a guide for snack tours for foreigners and helped many people enjoy Japanese snack culture. Also, by not only standing behind the counter as an event’s “mama” but also working on the management side, I learned more about snack culture and felt a sense of accomplishment in spreading it.
I am truly grateful to the customers and colleagues I met during those times, as well as the friends and supporters who have helped me along the way. Thank you so much.
During the Snack Bus Tour, I had the honor of standing on the bus as a mama!!
My aspirations for 2024
Well, this year is actually my unlucky year(Yakudoshi)! It’s said to be a turning point in life, but I want to make it a year where I can get through it energetically and without giving up, while also getting properly purified. I won’t just tighten my belt because it’s my unlucky year, but I’ll also embrace things in a positive way and push forward toward new challenges and goals.
A Happy New Year!!
In 2024, I will continue to share the appeal of “snack culture” with many people through Snack Yokocho, and I will also strive to grow as a person. I hope to create a year full of smiles together with you all.
Thank you for your continued support this year!
I wish you all the best in health and happiness in the new year.
